Intro
The city carries a high density of information and works in an orderly rhythm. His heart yearns for a place on the other side, a place where his true self can be accommodated after taking off his tie and suit, if hidden, is perhaps the closest description of his state.
We continue the spatial vocabulary of the building itself: foursquare, light-filled and clear white. With the least intervention, the use of ceiling structure of high and low difference, beam, material leads to an invisible moving line, combing the sitting room, dining-room, studio in the field of public relations, the private sector of the three bedrooms are retained the original pattern, do not transform.
Wide black aluminum louvers, flexible adjustment of light changes filter out the hustle and bustle of the morning city, the introduction of gorgeous lights at night, for the neutral tone of the living room to spread a tranquil time. The main wall of the television and the arc guiding Angle in the space soften the sharp junction of the wall. Terrazzo with fine gray and white dots is selected on the wall, retaining the original texture and plain feeling of the material. The floating structure at the bottom of the wall adopts the method of "subtraction", subtracting the volume of the stone wall to enhance the sense of lightness. The mirror surface reflects the reflection of the floor pavement and extends and magnifies the space. The white space of the top 30 centimeters creates a sense of mistaken vision that the smallpox pushes up and expands. The same white space is used with the smallpox to make the beam that presses the space originally disappear at the top, which is both existing and hidden, and is transformed into the object of the stack space level.
The field of studio and sitting room boundaries, the existing beam cut out of a watershed. The studio is another living place outside the living room. At the other end of the black louver, the bookcase piles up a piece of reading scenery. The vertical and horizontal grid lines and order are the paths for thoughts to walk. The owner often stays here to read magazines, deal with some work affairs, and accompany his family to do homework and play games. This area also has the same capacity as a formal table. The 240cm solid oak table top can accommodate 8-10 people at the same time. It can be used for reading and study for family members at ordinary times, and it can be transformed into a formal dinner for family and friends on holidays.
The dinning room is based on the original wood tone, sandblasted oak ceiling overlapping thickness to form a high and low difference, cut off the scope of the guest dinning room, arc guide angle design softened the boundary, weaken the crisp lines brought by the cold feeling. Considering the different schedules and dining habits of the family, as well as the large working space required by the hostess's baking habits, in addition to the traditional dining table, we create a 4.6-meter-long Island Bar made of large Italian sheet bricks. A touch of texture of large gray flower patterns on white background echoes with the wooden cabinet. The spatial tone is comfortable and relaxed, making dining more casual and leisurely. It can be paired with simple snacks in the morning and an immersive tipsy cocktail in the evening. The smooth line allows the hospitable owners to interact with their relatives and friends at zero distance. The storage space is hidden in the wooden back wall according to the classification of dry food, baking utensils, coffee and wine making. The texture of the same color as the ceiling is selected to make the pure white Middle island area more visually focused.
We hope to find a place somewhere in the city, a better way of life.
